At Northern Glow Beauty, your comfort, safety, and relaxation are my priorities. Whether you’re visiting for your first facial, lash treatment, or another beauty service, I want you to feel welcomed, informed, and confident throughout your experience.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first visit is all about getting to know you and your beauty and skincare goals. I’ll take the time to explain your treatment, answer your questions, and ensure you feel comfortable before we begin.

Your Consultation

Every new client receives a personalized consultation. We’ll discuss your health history, skin concerns, allergies, previous treatments, and desired results to ensure your service is appropriate for your individual needs.

Arrival Time

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your first appointment to allow time for your consultation and any necessary paperwork. This helps ensure you receive your full treatment time without feeling rushed.

Late Arrivals

I understand that unexpected delays happen. However, arriving late may result in a shortened treatment to avoid affecting the next client’s appointment. Arrivals that are too late to safely complete the service may need to be rescheduled, subject to our cancellation policy.

Patch Testing

Your safety comes first. Certain services, including lash lifts and tints, may require a patch test before your appointment to check for potential sensitivities. When required, patch testing must be completed within the recommended timeframe before treatment.

Aftercare

Beautiful results don’t end when your appointment does! You’ll receive individual, service-specific aftercare instructions following your treatment. These easy-to-follow guides will help you care for your skin or lashes, maintain your results, and understand what to expect after your service.

Appointment & Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens!

At Northern Glow Beauty, we value your time and appreciate you respecting ours. We understand that unexpected situations arise and sometimes appointments need to be changed or cancelled.

Our goal is to provide a fair and understanding policy while ensuring appointment times remain available for all our valued clients.

24-Hour Cancellation Notice

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

This allows us the opportunity to offer your appointment time to another client.

Your First Cancellation Is on Us!

We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen.

As a courtesy, your first late cancellation or missed appointment will be forgiven, with no cancellation fee.

We simply ask that you notify us as soon as possible.

Subsequent Cancellations

After your first courtesy cancellation:

• Less than 24 hours’ notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will apply.
• No-shows: A fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will apply.
• Future appointments: A deposit of 50% may be required to secure future bookings.

Any required deposit will be applied toward the cost of your service.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, your treatment may need to be shortened to avoid affecting the next client’s appointment.

Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling and may be treated as a late cancellation.

Emergencies & Special Circumstances

We recognize that genuine emergencies, illness, and unexpected situations occur.

Please contact us as soon as possible. Special circumstances will always be considered with understanding and compassion.
